Welcome to Touring Texas Regions, the homepage for our collection of Texas Day Tours – Android Apps. Each focuses on a specific part of the state and shows some of the cities and towns that are located in that region. When you are touring Texas, it is important to know, how far things are, what’s in the town, and maybe a little bit about the history of that town. 

The apps covers the Hill Country, the Gulf Coast. East Texas, North Texas, Central Texas, West Texas, and the Trans Pecos regions. Each app works the same, you locate the area you want to visit, press on the marker and you will be taken to a close up map of the city or area. Points of interest and local businesses are highlighted. Press on a point of interest and a panoramic view appears. Select Directions from the option menu, and the app will give you driving directions from you current location to the destination.

You can select what type of map you wish to see, from the standard, to satellite, a hybrid, or a terrain version. Once you are in a town press on the main marker and you will be able to read a brief history of that town or location. If you have ever been interested in touring Texas these are the apps for you.
