Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Announces New Educational Podcast

April 15, 2025—Albuquerque, NM—The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) is excited to announce the beginning of Pueblo In Focus, a new podcast series on Pueblo culture. This is an exciting opportunity for IPCC to use a new medium to educate audiences about Pueblo culture and traditions and share upcoming events on its campus.
Each 20-minute episode hosted by Jeremy Felipe (Pueblo of Acoma and the Pueblo of Jemez) will feature a member of IPCC’s staff from one of its departments, such as its museum, gift shop, and restaurant. The first Pueblo In Focus episode will feature current IPCC’s Guest Experience Director, Monique Silva. In this introductory episode, she will be discussing American Indian Week, a celebration of Native culture taking place from April 22 to 27, and the many activities taking place at IPCC as part of the celebration.
The goal of Pueblo In Focus is to expand awareness of Pueblo culture for both local Albuquerque residents and tourists who are interested in learning about New Mexico. Audiences will not only learn about the IPCC campus, but also about Pueblo history, art, food, and culture from IPCC staff who work with these topics.
Pueblo In Focus’ first episode will be uploaded on April 17. All episodes will be available on YouTube. Stay tuned for availability on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. New episodes will be uploaded on the last Thursday of every month
