Texas Water Development Board today approved financial assistance totaling $16,995,860 for water, wastewater, and flood projects
AUSTIN – (February 9, 2023) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $16,995,860 for water, wastewater, and flood projects.
- $300,000 to the Tri-Try Water Supply Corporation (Stonewall County) for water system improvements
- $5,696,000 to the City of Leonard (Fannin County) for wastewater system improvements
- $10,999,860 to the City of Pasadena (Harris County) for a flood improvement project
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
