Compared to last week: Feeder cattle lightly tested this week. Limited numbers of feeder steers and heifer sold mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Hay trades were mostly steady to 5.00 lower. Movement was moderate with hay trade picking up with concerns about the prolonging drought taking effect. In the Texas High Plains grain markets the bulk of bids were mostly 11 to 13 cents higher on grain sorghum; 3 to 11 cents higher on wheat; 6 to 7 cents higher on corn.
